| I work in the mall and my store is doing GREAT! Our sales have more than doubled over the past 3 years. The reasons stores have closed are varied. Some corporations closed there outlets entirely, such as Welcome Home did last year. Others cut back to keeping only the larger stores that did a certain dollar amount open. There were some that were privately owned and the owners closed due to health reasons or they just got tired of the work envolved. As far as filling it back up. That is easier said than done. Potential tentants want to know there is a customer base to make it worth putting in a store. It costs alot of money to put in a new store and train the associates. Some companies will not even look at a mall that isn't at least half full. There may not be many stores left, but those of us who are still here are very dedicated. We have wonderful merchandise and friendly associates. If you live in the area, please visit us. Inside the stores are men and women who are working hard to keep their jobs and want to be successful. |

| I used to be a manager at the mall. I don't know who said that there sales have been up because when our store closed no one was up! I am not going to say exactly when we did close, but it has not less then 3 years. The owner of the mall does not want stores to come in there for what reasons I do not know. There is alot of friendly people there, but only a hand full of stores. |

| I was so happy to find a Bon Worth store in the mall still open. We were in Eddyvill
last Sunday but the store didn't open until
noon and we we couldn't wait since we were
in the area for a family outing. I looked in the window and saw beautiful clothing. We live 100 miles away but plan to drive there again this weekend just to visit the store. I love Bon Worth merchandise and ask that the store will please stay open. I think the store needs to have a sign out on the main roads to let people know they
are still open. We drove up in the strip
and were surprised to see at least three
stores still open. Most people assume that
all the Mall is out of business.
The Hanson Mall is not carrying a good
supply of large tops and have gone more to
Teenage cloths.
Thanks for listening.
When will we see a store in the Evansville
area? |

| Seems the owners would want more business. Evidently not because the lease rate is way out of line based on the traffic and % of full to empty. Once they realize they need to draw business and price their space accordingly maybe then....we rented in a busy mall in clarksville for LESS than they wanted |
